NOVOCONTROL: ALPHA-A, MODULAR DIELECTRIC / IMPEDANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
ALPHA-A Analyzer is a modular measurement system for dielectric, conductivity and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy providing different test interfaces that allow optimization for specific application or future add-on/upgrade; offering ultra-wide impedance, broad frequency, and temperature ranges for material characterizations.
Typical setup comprises of the following components;
- Impedance Analyzer that measures the complex impedance Z(ω) of the sample material over frequency, impedance range and ratio of Z(ω) real and imaginary parts [quantified by the loss factor tan(δ)]
- ZGX Test interface modules for 2-, 3- or 4- wire measurement and allow to locate close to the sample, minimizing cable effects
- High AC Voltage (HVB) and High DC Current (POT/GAL) for non-linear dielectric, conductivity and impedance spectroscopy; test and analysis materials under electrical stress conditions
- Sample Cell (including liquid cells) for connection to the sample material and, or mount in a temperature control unit
- Temperature Control system provides temperature variation during measurement with wide temperature range, fast stabilization time and minimal overshoot
- Software for control, measurement, evaluation and analysis
