BESTSCOPE: Stereo Microscope
- A stereo microscope has two separate, side-by-side optical systems; one for each eyepiece. Each system contains its own objective lens and eyepiece, or they may share a common main objective lens with relatively low magnification, typically ranging from 5X to 100X.
- Stereo microscope uses light reflected off the surface of an opaque object. It may also be equipped with transmitted light for viewing certain transparent samples.
- Other features include long working distance enabling sufficient space for dissecting, soldering, or handling of samples under the lens.
