TREK NON-CONTACT ELECTROSTATIC VOLTMETER (ESVM)
Electrostatic Voltmeter (ESVM) works on electrostatic attraction where a sensing probe or electrode is placed near the charged surface. The electrostatic field between the charged object and the probe generates a force that is pick up by the sensing probe.
ADVANCED ENERGY’s offers Non-Contact ESVM that is crucial for sensitive applications where contact may damage or skew results and is designed for accuracy and repeatability with measurement including DC voltage, surface charge on insulating materials, and AC electric fields.
For seamless integration into manufacturing equipment, a voltmeter embedded in an on-board controller configuration is available that provides real-time electrostatic data.
ESVM is used in various applications including semiconductor manufacturing, electronics assembly, materials testing, as well as research and development.
